• Application is made with your diploma, passport, transcript, photo, mother/father's name, phone/email information
• If you are found suitable, the university will send you a conditional acceptance letter/offer letter. This letter will include some general information and if the down payment is made, it will state that your application to the school has been accepted and the bank account information for payment is written.
• When you send the receipt indicating that the payment has been made by transfer, an official acceptance letter will be issued.
• You should apply for a student visa with this official acceptance letter.
• After receiving your visa, you can prepare all the documents requested by the university, come to Turkey and complete your registration process.
In cases where the visa is not granted, some universities refund the prepayment, while others do not. This matter is stated in the conditional acceptance letter prepared by the university, so we advise you to read your conditional acceptance letter carefully. The refund process may take 3 months and may vary depending on the university.
This amount varies depending on the university. It is generally 500 USD or 1000 USD.
- The school you graduated from must be recognized by the Turkish Higher Education Council (equivalency).
- The field you graduated in must be compatible with the program you want to study.
- Your age.
It is the recognition of associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees obtained from recognized higher education institutions and programs abroad by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), and being equivalent to associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees issued by higher education institutions in Turkey.
The equivalency of associate, bachelor's, and master's diplomas is granted by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK).
For high school equivalency certificates, you can obtain them from provincial/district national education directorates or from Turkish representations abroad.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU OBTAIN AN EQUIVALENCY CERTIFICATE FROM THE EDUCATION ATTACHES AT TURKISH REPRESENTATIONS ABROAD IF APPLYING FROM OUTSIDE TURKEY. IF YOU CANNOT OBTAIN EQUIVALENCY AFTER ARRIVING IN TURKEY, YOU MAY BE FORCED TO RETURN.
